Nerja will host the MVA Jazz Festival of the Diputación de Málaga

Nerja, March 1, 2022.-

Next Saturday, March 5, the Villa de Nerja Cultural Center will host a new edition of the MVA Jazz Festival organized by the Diputación de Málaga with a concert by the Inoidel Standard Latin Group.

The first deputy mayor, Francisco Arce, has participated this morning in the presentation of the concert program that brings together national and international artists. The event took place in Torremolinos and was attended by the Director of Culture of the Diputación de Málaga, Antonio Roche, and councilors from the municipalities of Torremolinos, Ronda and Alhaurín de la Torre.

Arce thanked the Provincial Council of Malaga for including Nerja in this new edition of this important international Jazz festival, and encouraged Nerjeños and visitors alike to enjoy this magnificent concert, which will have free admission until full capacity is reached.

Inoidel Standard Latin Group is led by tenor saxophone Inoidel González, and is accompanied by Atsuko Shimada (piano), Romeu Tristäo (double bass) and João Lopes (drums). It is a group formed for the occasion by Inoidel González, a Cuban saxophonist who has participated in numerous projects with the recent Grammy winner Alain Pérez, and productions such as the film `The skin I live in by Pedro Almodóvar, and has also played with Celia Cruz.
