COMPONENTS

Almost two years after the start of the pandemic, the economic situation in Malaga continues to recover, although the uncertainties and difficulties for the business fabric are still there, especially for SMEs and the self-employed. To help these groups, Unicaja Banco has signed agreements with the business associations of three municipalities in the province, Nerja, Torremolinos and Vélez-Málaga, which have more than a thousand members. The objective is to provide them with financing ?in advantageous conditions?, as they have highlighted in a statement.

The three associations are integrated into the Confederation of Employers of Malaga (CEM). In fact, the agreements are part of the agreement signed last July between Unicaja Banco and the Malaga employers. The entities with which Unicaja Banco is now reinforcing its collaboration are the Business Associations of Nerja (AEN), Torremolinos (ACET) and Vélez-Málaga (ACEV).

The agreements signed by Unicaja Banco with these associations, like the one signed at the time with the CEM, reinforce the relationship that has existed for years, "aimed at achieving the common objectives of favoring the business fabric, facilitating economic growth and support the employment of Malaga and its province; in these cases, from Nerja, Torremolinos and Vélez-Málaga », they have added. According to the entity, ?the aim is to provide financing under advantageous conditions to companies in these three municipalities in order to encourage investment and support the expansion and development of strategic projects in the business sector, especially after the economic situation generated by the Covid- 19».

For the financial institution, companies in general, and SMEs in particular, "they continue to be one of the key groups in its financing policy, especially with regard to Andalusia and, specifically, to the province of Malaga." Thus, the entity has as one of its priority business areas the financing of companies, decisive for the revitalization of the economy and the creation of employment. This collaboration agreement includes specific financial products and services, under advantageous conditions, aimed at meeting the needs of companies and self-employed professionals from these three business associations.

Professional zero plan

Specifically, these entrepreneurs, by forming part of the CEM, will be able to benefit from passive products, through the self-employed professional zero plan, as well as treasury management for self-employed workers and companies through accounts, investment funds or private banking, and of business financing operations, through services such as Unicaja Confirming, furniture and real estate leasing, factoring and investment in assets via renting; financing for working capital and for investment in new projects and foreign trade; microcredits, or the First Company Loan to promote self-employment through viable initiatives.

As highlighted by Unicaja Banco, they will also have access to other products and services, such as the channeling of subsidies and official credits, means of payment, payment of taxes, property offers, etc.; international Business; digital banking, and insurance and pension plans.
